Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the shifted amount of optical patterns quickly, by providing a means for detecting the center of gravity, which outputs the voltages corresponding to the positions of the centers of gravity of a plurality of the optical patterns. CONSTITUTION:The series of a light sensitive part 11, a charge combining part 13, and a charge voltage converting part 15 (as well as a light sensitive part 12, a charge combining part 14, and a charge voltage converting part 16) forms the means for detecting the positions of the centers of gravity. The charges generated in the light sensitive parts 11 and 12 are combined in the combining parts 13 and 14 and converted into the voltages corresponding to the magnitudes of the charges in the converting parts 15 and 16 and outputted. Said outputs are supplied to a comparator 17. Since the shifted amount (d) of the two optical patterns corresponds to the difference between the output voltages of the converting parts 15 and 16, the shifting amount (d) becomes zero when e.g. a movable mirror is adjusted so that the output of the comparator 17 becomes zero. Therefore the shifted amount of the optical patterns can be quickly measured by the adjusting angle of the movable mirror.
