Abstract
PURPOSE:To have sure electric insulation, to prevent heat emission and hinder the rotary part from leakage, in a motor valve to be used as expansion valve for a refrigerating cycle, by arranging the coil outside the casing. CONSTITUTION:When a positive or negative pulse is applied to a coil as stator, 8, the coil is energized in N or S pole and the permanent magnet as rotor 7 rotates for an angle proportional to the number of pulses. Thereby a rotary shaft 7a is rotated for transmission to the output shaft 5a. When this output shaft 5a rotates, the valve rod 4 rotates and a needle 4a opens or shuts the valve seat 1a. Here, the refrigerant flows into the upper space of the valve rod 4 through screw hole 1a2, so that no external pressure is applied to the valve rod 4. Because even the rotor 7 is contained in the enclosed lid construction 6, no sealing is required to the rotary parts.
