Abstract

PURPOSE:To smooth the stirring and transfer of a substance to be treated by a method wherein the rotary shaft in a cylindrical heat conductive wall is connected as a unit rotary shaft by shaft couplings and a rotary bearing part is provided to the unit rotary shaft between shaft couplings. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus for stirring a high viscosity slurry like liquid to be treated while said liquid is cooler or heated, a rotary shaft 7 is formed from predetermined numbers of unit rotary shafts 7' having a hollow part 14 but a coupling part is formed as a bearing part constituted by inlaying a roller 20 in the fork part 19 of a support bar 22 and inserting a shaft rod through said fork part 19 and the roller 20 to enable the contact rotation thereof. By this mechanism, because the stirring and transfer of a substance to be treated is made smooth, the shortening of a treating time, the enhancement of treating capacity, the reduction of energy or the like are carried out.
