CONSTITUTION:Copying paper 4 is conveyed while its tip is gripped with the pawls 8 of grippers 7 provided at halfway points of a chain 6, and then discharged to a tray 9 through a transfer part D and a fixation part F. A magnet is provided at each gripper end part and detected to know that the gripper 7 arrives; and the copying paper 4 is sent synchronously to grip its tip correctly with the gripper 7.
