Abstract

PURPOSE: To allow easy transfer of an egg to an egg gripping equipment of a conveyor by preparing an egg holding part to one end of an oscillating arm and a counter weight to the other end.
CONSTITUTION: A holder 71 is prepared with an egg holding cage 75 to one end of an arm 73 being supported to support plate 72 by pivot 74, and a counter weight 76 to the other end of the arm. Rotation of the arm is restricted by a stopper 77a and a projection 77b. Holder 71 is attached to a chain 49 through their support plate 72 at a certain necessary interval, having egg gripped by the holder from an egg feeder and supply it to an egg gripper of an egg conveyor running parallel to the egg holder during it is being transported, so that an egg is safely and surely transported and transferred.
