CONSTITUTION:A coaxial anode 23 comprising an inner pole 24, outer pole 26 and an insulator 28 is burried at the funnel section 22. Then a connecting mechanism 25 is fixed to the inner pole 24 and surrounded by an insulator 29 while the outer pole 26 is electrically connected to an inner conductive film 27. Then the voltage is applied from the connecting mechanism 25 onto one mask electrode of the focus mask and from the inner conductive film 27 onto the other mask electrode. Consequently a plurality of voltages can be applied quite reliably.
