Abstract
PURPOSE: To control the temp. of waste gases entering a dry dust remover to necessary low temp. in the stage in the stage of purifying the waste gases of a blast furnace with a water-cooled rough particle remover and the dry dust remover, by controlling the flow rate of cooling water for the coarse particle remover in accordance with the change in the temp. of the waste gases.
CONSTITUTION: The waste gases of a blast furnace 1 are purified with a coarse particle remover 2 and a dry dust remover 3, after which the gases are released. When the temp. of the waste gases rises sharply on account of the blow-by, slipping, etc. of the blast furnace, the signal of a differentiator 18 by the measured value of a waste gas thermometer 17 is inputted to a time delay operator 19, and the flow rate is corrected by the signal of a flowmeter 15 for the waste gases emitting from the dust remover 3. This signal is inputted to an adder 20. Here, it is added with the output of a PI arithmetic device 16, and a control valve 7 for cooling water of the remover 2 is controlled by the outut of an adder 20, whereby the water cooling in the remover 2 is automatically regulated so that the entry of the high temp. gases into the remover 3 and the damaging of the remover are prevented.
