Abstract
PURPOSE:To discriminate colors precisely without using different lenses by arraying plural sensors reading out huminous fluxes consisting of plural different color components with different array patterns in every color component. CONSTITUTION:A reading line 13 on an original irradiated by a fluorescent lamp 2 passes through a red component transmitting filter 19 through a lens array 15, an iris diaphragm 16 and a douser 17 and only the information of a red component is inputted to a solid sensor array 22. On the other hand, a reading line 14 passes a cyanic component transmitting filter 18 and only the information of a cyanic component is inputted to a solid sensor array 21. Since the magnification of image formation is changed by the chromatic aberration of a lens array 15 in accordance with the difference of the wavelength area of light, the length LR and LC of element arrays in photodetecting parts 30, 31 of the sensor arrays 22, 21 should be changed in proportion to the magnification of image formation.
