Abstract
PURPOSE:To read an image reflected on a reflecting plane with a photo sensor array, to read an image not reflected on the plane with another independent photo sensor array and to read a minute image with high resolution, by providing a reflecting plane reflecting a part of the image between the lens and the image forming plane. CONSTITUTION:An image 10 on a micro film 6 is iluminated with a light source 7, and the image 10 is formed on a projective lens 9. A reflecting plane 12 reflecting the image 10 is located between the lens 9 and a CCD line sensor 151, and the image reflected on the reflecting plane 12 is red with the sensor 15<1>. The image formed on the lens 9 not reflected on the reflecting plane 12 is read with other CCD line sensors 152, 153. The reflecting plane 12 is located with an inclination on the optical axis of the lens 9, and the image 10 projected via the lens 9 is split into three parts, the respective image is indpendently read at the sensors 151, 152, 15<3>, and the minute image 10 such as a film can be read with high resolution.
