Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent dew condensation in the heat exchanging section of combustion waste gas, and to improve the durability of a heat exchanger by constituting a water path in which a series passage system is employed up to the limit flow rate of boiling and bypass system when water flow more than said flow rate flows out. CONSTITUTION:When a hot-water supply cock 4 is opened in case of use, a gas solenoid valve 7 is opened by output signals emitted from a proportional control section 11 while an ignition plug 6 is operated and a gas burner 5 starts its combustion. When the amount of hot water discharged increases up to the limit flow rate of boiling from the minimum amount of hot water discharged at that time, a diaphragm 12 is left moved against a spring 32 by pressure difference between chambers 13, 14 and a water flowing switch 9 is at ON, but a bypass valve body 35 keeps condition that a valve port 23a is closed, and the whole fliws rate is supplied to the heat exchanger 2 though the water course according to the series passage system. When the hot-water supply cock 4 is opened more largely, on the other hand, a diaphragm 15 is moved rightward against a spring 36, and a part of supply water flows into a bypass 23.
