Abstract

PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce energy consumption of a generator by sucking water from a storage tank by means of siphones and sending it down to a power generating turbine located at a low position so as to perform consecutive power generation. CONSTITUTION:Seawater 2 maintained at a height h1 in a tank 3 is sucked up by an additional height h2 by a pump equipment 11 via rising pipes 9 and thereafter forced to flow down through descendent pipes 12. As the result, a pressure difference is produced between the pipes 9, 12 according to a principle of the siphone so that the seawater 2 in the tank 3 continuously flows down to the lower generator 5 through the descendent pipes 12. Thereby, the continuous power generation may be achieved without the need for a pump equipment, remarkably reducing the energy which is consumed by a power generator.
