Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform water supply, or hot water supply under city water pressure by dividing the interior of a tank via a piston into upper hot water and lower water supply chambers, and providing a valve which is switched by the water temperature in a hot water unit in a tube which connects the lower chamber to a solar heat hot water unit. CONSTITUTION:A plug of a hot water supply port 12 is first opened for used, and city water is supplied via a water supply tube 6 to a vacant water supply chmber 5. The water which is passed through the chamber 5 in this state is fed through a solenoid valve 9a to a heat collecting tube of a solar heat hot water unit 7. When a temperature sensor 10 detect it, the valve 9a is closed through a control board 14. Thus, the piston 2 in the chamber 5 is raised by the city water pressure to reach the tank 1 upper limit, and water is stored to the maximum limit in the chamber 5. When the water temperature in the unit 7 reaches the prescribed value, the valve 9a is opened, cooled water is fed into the unit 7, while hot water in the unit 7 is fed to a hot water supply chamber 4 to press down the piston 2, and the heated water is stored.
