Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent neutron density in a centrifugal clarifier from attaining the critical valve by disposing a member packed with a neutron absorber in the liquid contact part of the centrifugal clarifier to absorb neutrons in said absorber.
CONSTITUTION: A stationary sleeve 15 is mounted by means of plural ribs 14 in a radial direction to the center in the bottom part of a casing 6. A recess 18 is provided to the inside surface of the top end of a rotary bowl 7 to face the sleeve 15 at the higher position than the max. liquid level of a receiver 9.
