Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent an ignition accident on fuel even if an inner wall is broken in an accident by doubling the wall of a fuel tank and putting fire prevention liquid into an outer tank formed between the inner wall and an outer wall of the tank.
CONSTITUTION: A inner fuel tank 2 is formed within an outer tank 1 for fire prevention, and the whole tank is formed of a double structure. The outer tank 1 has a fire prevention liquid reservoir 1d and an inlet 4 for fire prevention liquid 3 is formed at the upper portion of the reservoir 1d. At the upper portion of the inner tank 2 placed within the outer tank 1, a fuel inlet 8 and a fuel outlet 9 are formed so as to penetrate a wall of the outer tank 1. In addition, a fire prevent liquid wave suppressor plate 13 and a fuel liquid wave suppressor plate 14 respectively provided with through hole 13a, and 14a are housed in each tank.
