Abstract

PURPOSE: To make a titled device usable in common for liquid, gases, etc. and to prevent clogging surely by providing a filter body formed of porous capillary objects connected to an oscillating mechanism in a vertical direction in the upper chamber of the filter device.
CONSTITUTION: If fluid to be filtered, for example, liquid is introduced through an introduction port 2 after a butterfly valve 12 is closed, the liquid flows into a lower chamber 6 through a communicating port 9, after which it fills an upper chamber 1 successively again through the port 9 and is led out through a lead- out port 3. The liquid led out through the port 3 is only the one filtered by passing through the filter body 13 formed of capillary objects 14. The dirt filtered by the body 13 and stuck on the objects 14 is dislodged by the oscillations of an oscillating mechanism 15 and drops through the port 9 into the chamber 6. The dirt drops into the chamber 6 successively along the objects 14 in accordance with the oscillation and does not flow back to the direction of the chamber 1.
