Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a transformer from flow of an excessive short-circuit current, and to prevent unnecessary power consumption by a method wherein a reactor is connected in series to a diode for rectification. CONSTITUTION:The primary coil of a transformer T2 is connected in series to the diode D1, one side terminal of the secondary coil is connected to the secondary side terminal B of a transformer T1, and the other side terminal of the secondary coil thereof is connected to one side terminal of a smoothing capacitor C1, namely to an output terminal C of the rectifying circuit through a diode D3. Accordingly flow of the excessive short-circuit current in the secondary winding of the transformer T1 to be generated by ON operation of the diodes D1, D2 at the same time is prevented.
