Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the titled adhesive having excellent instantaneous adhesivity, with little irritative odor and whitening, by mixing specific amounts of a specific alkoxy-α-cyanoacrylate and methyl(or ethyl)-α-cyanoacrylate.
CONSTITUTION: The objective adhesive is prepared by mixing (A) 100pts.wt. of an alkoxy-α-cyanoacrylate of formula (R1 is 1W2C alkoxy; n is 1W3) with (B) 0.5W40pts., preferably 3W25pts. of methyl(or ethyl)-α-cyanoacrylate, and (C) a stabilizer (e.g. sulfur dioxide), a thickener, a carboxylic acid anhydride (e.g. maleic anhydride), glyoxylic acid, etc.
USE: General industrial and domestic adhesive.
