Abstract

PURPOSE:To cut kraft paper for bushing cores accurately with no irregular end parts at all in the stage of cutting said paper by using a laser beam and making the cutting width automatically adjustable by means of motor driving. CONSTITUTION:A titled device is formed of a reflecting mirror 22 which refracts a laser beam 8, a focusing mirror 23 which condenses the refracted laser beam 8, supporting cases 21, 25 which support the respective mirrors, and further a focusing mechanism part, blocks 17a, 17b which support this, a motor 15a which moves the blocks 17a, 17b, and feed screw shafts 12a, 12b. Kraft paper 5 is cut to a tapered shape by the laser beam moving in accordance with guide shafts 11a, 11b for traveling, and the cut kraft paper is coiled, whereby a bushing core 7 free from irregularity is formed.
