Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition useful as core materials for trim parts of car, etc., having improved impact resistance, etc. and complicated moldability even with high content of filler, obtained by blending a thermoplastic with an olefin type elastomer and a filler.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic is blended with an olefin type elastomer and a filler (sawdust, etc.). For example, 45pts.wt. polypropylene is blended with 5pts.wt. olefin type elastomer (ethylene-maleic anhyride copolymer, etc.) and a large amount of (50pts.wt.) sawdust having 30W50 mesh. Extrusion molding is not carried out easily when the amount of the filler used is ≥70wt%.
