Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide titled compsn. having improved injection moldability and giving injection-molded articles of improved appearance, consisting of an a elastomeric copolymer derived from ethylene and an α-monoolefin and a resinous copolymer derived from propylene and a straight-chain α-olefin.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a compsn. consisting of a composite material composed of an elastomeric copolymer (A) derived from ethylene and an α-monoolefin and optionally a nonconjugated diene and a resinous copolymer (B) derived from propylene and a 5W12C straight-chain α-olefin and optionally ethylene or butene-1 in a weight ratio of the components A/B of 1/99W80/20. The composite material composed of the components A and B can be obtd. by mechanical melt kneading. But, when the components A and B are melt-kneaded together, either or both of the components A and B can be partially crosslinked by using a crosslinking agent, or a partial crosslinking between both components can be caused by using the crossling agent. Examples of the crosslinking agents are dicumyl peroxide and diisopropyl benzohydroperoxide.
