Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the titled uniform molded article, by stirring finely divided silica particles to which a chemical blowing agent is attached with a granular polyolefin at high speed, forming a fine covering layer on the surface of the polyolefin, followed by extruding it under heating.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Silica having an average particle diameter 1W10μ and a water content of 2W20wt% is blended with (B) a chemical blowing agent, e.g., azodicarbonamide, etc. in a weight ratio of the component A to component B of 3:7W 5:5, so that the component B is attached to the circumference of the component A. The covered silica and (C) a granular polyolefin (e.g., polyethylene, etc.) are stirred at a high speed ≥100rpm to give the polyolefin covered with the components A and B. The polyolefin is fed to an extruder, extruded under heating, and molded.
EFFECT: Since the covering layer bonds to the resin firmly, the covering layer will not peel off during transportation by air.
