Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a thermoplastic resin compsn. having excellent color developing propeties and low-temperature impact strength, by blending an ABS resin, a methyl methacrylate resin and a diene rubber in a specified ratio.
CONSTITUTION: 0.5W30pts.wt. graft copolymer of a diene rubber polymer with an arom. vinyl compd. or a vinyl cyanide compd., is blended with 100pts.wt. mixture consisting of an ABS resin (A) such as a graft copolymer having an intrinsic viscosity of pref. 0.4W1.5 (in dimethylformamide at 30°C) obtd. from an ethylene- propylene rubber copolymer and an arom. vinyl compd. or a vinyl cyanide compd. or other polymerizable monomer compd., and a polymer (B) composed mainly of methyl methacrylate in a ratio of A to B of 5:95W95:5, to produce the titled resin compsn.
