Abstract

PURPOSE:To urge a power generating equipment, by housing a hydraulic generator in a lifting device, setting a gate in a waterway, arranging said lifting device in the upstream of said gate in such a manner as to divide said waterway into at least two parts and operating a water turbine through the difference of a water level between the divided water stream parts. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of lifting devices 200, housed with a water turbine generator 300, are arranged across a waterway in an optional position of the upstream from a gate 100 installed in a dam or flume. A waterway 500 in the upstream from the gate 100 is divided into two waterways 502 and 504 by fixedly sealing water between the lifting device 200 and strut 202. A gate 400 is adjusted so that a required level difference for operating the water turbine generator 300 can be applied between water levels of the downstream waterway 502 and that of the upstream waterway 504 of the lifting device 200.
