Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled elastomer excellent in elasticity and heat resistance and low in temperature dependency of modulus of elasticity, prepared by reacting a specified polymer-polyol, a polyester-polyol, a chain extender and a pslyisocyanate.
CONSTITUTION: A polyol component (A) is obtained by mixing (a) 100pts.wt. high-MW polyoxyalkylene polyol, functionality 2W3, average MW 2,000W8,000, and/or polymer-polyol obtained by graft polymerization of vinyl compounds based on styrene/acrylonitrile with (b) 10W40pts.wt. polyester-polyol, phthalic acid residue content ≥30wt%, average MW 300W2,000, OH/molecule ≥2 and (c) 25W50pts.wt. chain extender, MW≤400 (e.g., ethylene glycol). Next, component A is reacted with (B) a polyisocyanate (e.g., tolylene diisocyanate) at an NCO index of 1.05W1.15 in the presence of, if necessary, a blowing agent (e.g., dichloromethane).
