Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a linear motor, to improve the performance of the motor and to facilitate the deformation of a flexible belt having a flexible magnet for driving a movable element alternately magnetized at N-pole and S- pole by employing the flexible belt as the movable element. CONSTITUTION:A linear motor is composed of a stator 1 and a movable element 2. A coil is wound on the stator 1 in a frame shape, and is formed of a plastic molded and solidified movable element driving rectangular frame coil 3, a Hall element 4 secured to the coil 3, and a stator plate 5 which secures the coil 3 and the element 4. The element 2 is formed of a flexible belt in which a movable element driving flexible magnet 6 having alternately N-pole and S-pole is buried.
