Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the vane noise while maintaining the volume efficiency loss low, by returning the residual refrigerant and the oil in the gap to the suction side vane chamber after the tip of the vane has passed through the discharge port. CONSTITUTION:After the tip of a vane 62 has passed through a discharge hole 52, a leak groove 58 conducting between a gap section 55 formed by the vane 51 after passing through the discharge hole 52, rotor 50, cylinder 1, cylinder top 53 and a sideboard and a suction side vane chamber 57 conducting to the suction hole is formed in the circumferential direction of the rotor. Consequently the leak will not occur in the compressing process where the vane tip section 62 is in front of the discharge port 52, but after the vane tip section has passed through the port 52 the residual fluid 56 in the gap section 55 will return to the suction side vane chamber 57 without causing the abnormal pressure rise.
