Abstract

PURPOSE:To make excellent copies under high-humidity conditions by equipping a rotary sleeve made of nnmagnetic materials which carries insulating one-component magnetic toner to a development area while sticking it on the surface, a magnetic roller, etc. provided in said rotary sleeve. CONSTITUTION:Insulating one-component magnetic toner 2 is supplied from an opening part provided under a toner storage container 3 to the surface of a rotaey sleeve 4 made of conductive nonmagnetic materials. Then, the magnetic toner 2 is carried clockwise by the rotary sleeve 4 turning clockwise and by the magnetic force of a magnet roller 5 provided inside of the sleeve 4 and turning counterclockwise, and then regulated by a regulating member 6 to a prescribed thickness to come into contact with a photoreceptor drum 1. Applying the rotary sleeve with a potential with the opposite polarity to the photoreceptor drum 1 performs fog-free excellent copies under high-humidity coditions.
