PURPOSE:To realize the control of exposure with simple circuit constitution, by performing automatic exposure control with priority of a specific diaphragm value when both the diaphragm and shutter second-time setting means are set at a specific position, respectively. CONSTITUTION:An automatic exposure controlling camera can selectively switch the exposure control mode between the shutter second-time priority and the diaphragm priority. In case both the shutter dial and the diaphragm preset ring are set at the AUTO mark, the signals sent from priority signal sources TA and AA are applied to an analog switch AS4 via a gate G23. Then the terminal of the switch AS4 is switched to (b) from (a), and accordingly the signal applied from a diaphragm input means AROM to which the diaphragm value having a high using frequency is set is supplied to an adder ADD1. Based on this diaphragm value, the shutter second time is automatically controlled.
