Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the voltage variation stably and to enable the device to be used in systems having different power source voltage levels, by comparing the difference between the normal power source voltage and the delayed power source voltage with the output which is obtained by multiplying the normal power source voltage by a specified number of times. CONSTITUTION:The power source voltage VA is delayed by a delay circuit 1 by a specified time. The difference between the output voltage VB of said delay circuit 1 and the power source voltage VA is detected by a differential circuit 2. The output voltage VB of the delay circuit 1 is multiplied by K times (K is a constant in an inequality 0<K<1) by a constant multiplying circuit 3. The output voltage VD of said constant multiplying circuit 3 and the output voltage VC of the differential circuit 2 are compared in a comparator 4. In the case of K=0.2, and abnormal voltage detecting signal V'S is outputted when the difference between the power source voltage VA and the output voltage VB of the delay circuit 1 exeeds the 20% of the voltage VB. In this constitution, the abnormal power source voltage can be detected without providing a specific, absolute, preset voltage, and the device can be used in the systems having the different power source voltage.
