CONSTITUTION:Manganese dioxide as an active material, acetylene black as a conductive material, and polytetrafluoroethylene as a binding agent are mixed at a predetermined ratio, and the mixture is pressed and formed into a positive electrode 1. Dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene is dripped on the peripheral area of this positive electrode, or only the peripheral area is impregnated with a dispersion solution of polytetrafluoroethylene, thus more binding agents are applied to the peripheral area of the positive electrode 1 than to the central area.
