Abstract
PURPOSE: To remove a dehydrated cake with a constantly fixed waer content by regulating the vacuum in a vacuum dehydrator.
CONSTITUTION: A water content signal from a water content meter 5 for the dehydrated cake 9 discharged from the vacuum sludge dehydrator 1 and a vacuum signal from a vacuum monometer 6 provided for detecting the vacuum in the dehydrator 1 are fed into a ratio setter 7. When the water content of the dehydrated cake is higher than the water content value set on the setter 7, a signal for increasing the vacuum is outputted, while on the other hand, a signal for decreasing the vacuum is outputted when the detected water content is lower than the set value, and the output signal is fed into an indicating controller 8. When increasing the vacuum, a signal for acceleration is fed out from the indicating controller 8 to a vacuum pump 3 to increase the revolution speed of the pump 3, and the feeding of the signal is continued until a feedback value from a tachometer 4 conforms to the signal. On the other hand, when decreasing the vacuum, a signal for deceleration is fed out from the controller 8 to the pump 3 to lower the revolution speed of the pump 3, and the feeding-out of the signal is continued until the feedback value from the tachometer 4 conforms to the signal.
