Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a white paper section and a coloring section from deterioration by chemicals and eliminate sticking of dreg, by providing an overcoat layer of alumina sol and colloidal silica on a heat-sensing recording paper made mainly of a color precursor and a developer. CONSTITUTION:On a heat-sensing recording paper which is made principally of a color precursor A, such as crystal violet lactone, etc. and a developer B coloring a component A (such as, 4 and 4'-isopropylene diphenol, etc.), an overcoat layer of alumina zol (preferably with an average grain size of 100-10mmu) and/or colloidal silica (preferably with an average grain size of 10-50mmu) is appropriately provided to a thickness of 3-12mu.
