Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably manufacture a cold rolled soft steel plate with superior press formability by hot rolling a B-added extra-low carbon steel at a proper finish temp., followed by coiling, cold rolling and continuous annealing. CONSTITUTION:A steel slab consisting of <=0.010% C, 0.05-0.30% Mn, <=0.070% Sol. Al, <=0.0050% N, 0.0010-0.0050% B and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is hot rolled at 850-900 deg.C finish temp. and coiled at 550-720 deg.C. This hot rolled coil is descaled, cold rolled at >=60% ordinary reduction ratio, and continuously annealed at heating and soaking temps. of the recrystallization temp. -the A3 point.
