Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture a hot-rolled high-tensile galvanized steel sheet having superior tensile strength and workability by hot rolling a high Mn steel slab under specified conditions, batchwise annealing the resulting sheet to convert the structure into a composite structure of ferrite and low temp. transformation phase, and galvanizing the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A steel slab contg. 0.05-0.15% C, 2.0-3.0% Mn, 0.1-0.8% Si and 0.01-0.10% Al is hot rolled to a sheet and coiled at >=650 deg.C. This hot rolled sheet is pickled and batchwise annealed at a temp. of the Ac1 transformation point-the Ac3 transformation point to convert the structure into a composite structure of ferrite and low temp. transformation phase. The sheet is then subjected to flux type galvanizing to manufacture a hot-rolled high-tensile galvanized steel sheet having >=50kg/cm<2> tensile strength and superior workability.
