Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate a ''TELETEXT'' (character multiplex broadcasting) decorder by converting a serial data output from a remote-control receiving decoder into parallel data, by adding mode selection bits, and by reconverting and outputting the data. CONSTITUTION:A serial data output signal from remote-control receiving decoder 8 is inputted to shift register 9 and then converted into parallel data. Then, AND gates 19 and 20 set or reset flip-flop 21 according to the output state of the data and the output of flip-flop 21 is inputted as an initial bit to parallel-series converting circuit 11. The output of parallel-series converting circuit 11 is passed through inverter 18 to obtain inverted serial data, which is inputted to ''TELETEXT'' decoder 22.
