Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a high-density and high-efficiency recording properties, by providing the two inflection points in the width of the 2nd magnetic layer at the upper part of the 1st magnetic layer and at the same time setting the width of the 2nd magnetic layer smaller than that of the 2nd inflection point.
CONSTITUTION: The insulated layer and the conductive layer are laminated together on the magnetic substrate of the 1st magnetic layer formed by disposing the magnetic thin film of Ni-Fe, etc. onto the nonmagnetic substrate, thus forming a signal winding. Then a closed magnetic circuit is formed on the signal winding through the front action blank part and the rear junction part of the 2nd magnetic layer, and two inflection points A-A' and B-B' are provided in the width of the 2nd magnetic layer. Thus the 1st inflection point A-A' is set between the rear end 11 of the action blank part and the position which is backward from the end 11 by 0.2L, and the 2nd inflection point B-B' is set between the front end 9 and the position which is forward of the end 9 by 0.2L, where the distance between the ends 11 and 9 is set to L. And the width of the 2nd magnetic layer at the point A-A' is set smaller than that at the point B-B'. In such way, a high-density and high-efficiency recording properties can be obtained.
