Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a display record panel and easily manufacture it by forming at least a part of record electrodes on the same side as the display side on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A record section 2 is formed by extending the back plate 11 of a plasma display panel 1 and forming a record electrode group 14 on its extension. A record line electrode 14 is formed on the same surface as the line electrode of the back plate 11 on a display record panel and an electronic print recording paper 16 is applied on the record line electrode 14 by a feed mechanism. On the other hand, a record row electrode 13 is formed on an insulating elastic material 12. The recording paper 16 is made to adhere tightly to the display record panel by the insulating elastic material 12 and selected pulse voltage is applied between the record line electrode 14 and record row electrode 13. As a result, coloring occurs on the recording paper 16 of the intersecting point in the same way as display.
