Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the reproduction of a good picture by carrying out the cooling of the illumination part where the original is illuminated via the production of the air current moving toward the illumination part from the side of the photodetector and also keeping a constant distance among the photodetectors. CONSTITUTION:The original is put on original glass 5 and then read by optical reading part 6 possessing illuminating means 11'. Thus the heat generated at means 11' can be prevented from reaching photodetector 10. As a result, the deterioration can be prevented for both the attachment accuracy and the optical characteristics of part 6, thus ensuring the reproduction of a good picture.
