Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a head from trouble during returning to the original position by a method wherein when a thermal head is removed from a recording paper through the intermediary of an ink tape, a reversing check device is installed to prevent the head from being pulled back reversely to the rotation direction of a winding shaft of a tape by means of a tape.
CONSTITUTION: An outer diameter 525 of one direction rotation clutch 515 is fixed to a fitting member 523 and one end thereof is fixed to a cassette fitting base 215 with a screw 524. The clutch 515 operates so that it can rotate freely only to the direction for a shaft 329 to wind a ribbon tape and after a printing process is finished, it prevents a tape from being pulled back reversely from the shaft 329 when a ribbon tape is removed, when a typed character part of the ribbon tape ink is melted through the transfer by heat and sticks to recording paper.
