Abstract
PURPOSE: To miniaturize and simplify structure by providing the storage room of characteristic heat-resisting structure of a controller in a separator frame.
CONSTITUTION: On the wall part of storage room 15 of controller 9, heat-resisting material 16 such as glass wool is hermetically provided. Consequently, particles with mixed different-color particles, which are raw material, fed into supply hopper 1 fall on downthrow conduit 3 by way of vibrating grain-feed conduit 2 and, while the generation of dew and the cohesion of powdery dust are prevented through the heating of infrared-ray radiator 5, slide down on the conduit surface being accelerated, thereby forming falling trace A by photoelectric ejector unit 6. Then, different- color particles falling along trace A are irradiated with light from light source 7 and its reflected light is photo-detected by photodetector 8 to put jet nozzle 10 into operation by controller 9, thereby ejecting the different-color particles out of falling trace A. In this case, heat-resisting material 16 prevents increasing heat and moisture from entering storage room 15 from conduit 3 and controller 9 can be installed close by conduit 3 in three dimensions, thereby attaining the purpose.
