Abstract
PURPOSE: To arrange so that slurry of preset density may be fed out, by sending out slurry preset density through the gushing out of medium from the upper part of a sump at the bottom of ship hold and then spurting out a medium from the multinozzles at a sump inflow port.
CONSTITUTION: Granular substance 2 is cut and crushed by gushing out media such as water, petroleum, etc. from above granular item 2 at the bottom of ship hold through jet nozzle 4. Then granular item flowing into sump 8 is stirred and slurry of preset density is fed out from constant quantity slurry feeder device 9. In addition, an increase in slurry density or the clogging of sump inflow port caused by the collapse of sliding slurry substance 2 is sensed by means of a slurry densitometer 12 or a slurry flowmeter 13. Following this process, a medium is caused to be gushed out from the multinozzles 7 at inflow port for the sump 8. Thus it is always possible to feed out slurry of preset density.
