Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a deodorizing apparatus with good absorption efficiency for releasing gas passing pores from an absorption liquid rapidly to form a membrane fastly by forming gas passing pores along a radius direction of a cylindrical body by a net like member holding a gas absorption liquid in a membrane form.
CONSTITUTION: An absorption element 16 constituted by a honeycomb shaped net like member is provided to an outer peripheral portion of a rotary cylindrical body 7 having a malodorous gas introducing portion 5 having an opened central portion of e one side surface to form many gas passing pores in a radius direction of the cylindrical body and the cylindrical body is rotated while immersed in an absorption liquid 4 to hold the absorption liquid in the absorption element 16 to constitute so as to pass a gas while said gas is contacted with a held absorption liquid as shown by an arrow. A shaft 8 of this cylindrical body 7 is attached to a lower box body 3 by a bearing member 9 and rotated by a pulley 10. A malodorous gas is introduced into the hollow portion of the cylindrical body 7 from the gas introducing portion 5 and exhausted from an exhaust duct 6 through gas passing pores formed by the absorption element 16.
