Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve combustion in a diesel engine for an automobile, by introducing a mixture of water with alcohol into the combustion chamber of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A mixed liquid containing water and alcohol and stored in a liquid tank 1 is injected through a pump 2, a filter 4 and an injector 5 into an intake pipe 7 connected to an engine 8. The mixed liquid is mixed further with fuel supplied from the injector 5. The final mixture is introduced into the combustion chamber of the engine 8.
