Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the test manhour by connecting the testing computer via the maintenance panel control interface and then storing the test program into the main memory device of the information processor to be tested via the control of the computer to carry out the test.
CONSTITUTION: The testing computer 11 possesses the function which can control the panel control circuit 2 at the side of information processor A to be tested. And the console input/output device 12 and the file memory device 13 are connected to the computer 11. Both the test progtam including the set test conditions plus the test schedule table are stored previously in the device 13. The circuit with which the test is through is connected to the computer 11, and the test program corresponding to the system constitution of the processor A is read out of the device 13 under the control of the computer 11. And this information is stored into the main memory device 5 via the panel interface and under the control of the CPU4 of the processor A. The circuit 2 is controlled by the computer 11 to read out the test program stored in the device 5. Thus an automatic test is ensured for the unit group 3 to be tested.
