Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out a high-speed queuing decision by providing a synchronous circuit consisting of the execution control FF which suppresses the execution and the progress of the microprogram μPG word and the queuing conditions deciding circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The synchronous circuit 6 holds part 51 of te output of the decoder 5 in the μPG control device. The contents of the control memory address register 3 and the control memory register 2 are replaced with the same clock. And the μPG word is executed by the output signal 60 of the circuit 6 when the execution control FF64 of the circuit 6 is 0, and then decoded by the decoder 5 to give the control to the resources within the processor in the form on the control signal 50. When the queuing conditions 61 is given, the output signal 66 of the selection deciding circuit 63 for the queuing conditions of the circuit 6 becomes 1 to turn the FF64 to 1. As a result, the replacement is suppressed for the registers 3 and 2 each, and the decoder 5 is suppressed. And thus the indication is suppressed to the resources within the processor. The latch circuit 62 holds the immediately preceding state under which the FF64 is 0, and the execution of the μPG word is blocked until the queuing conditions are cancelled.
