Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an automatic replacement of a disposer and facilitate a maintenance of the ink jet recording device by a method wherein said disposer is installed at a part of a member which is replaced or removed periodically in the ink jet recording device provided with a disposer for use in receiving discarded ink. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet recording device in which ink is injected under a control from a nozzle head 10 fixed to a tension wire 16 tensioned via pulleys 17 and 18 and slid along a guide head 15 by a motor 19 in a rightward or a leftward direction, and printed in a recording medium 20, an ink disposer 26 applied for collecting ink particles injected periodically even when no recording is performed is attached to a member, e.g. an ink supply tank 25 for a nozzle head 10 which is replaced and removed periodically.
