Abstract

PURPOSE: To widen the constant wind-pressure range, to prevent surging and to lessen the wasteful blow-off of a blower or compressor by setting the limit throttle opening amount of the suction valve corresponding to the suction temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The temperature sensed by a suction temperature measuring means 11 is entered to a signal converter 12, and the signal from the converter 12 is inputted to a function generator 13. The function generator 13, in which the relationship between the suction temperature and the limit throttle opening amount of a suction valve 10 has been previously set, sends the limit throttle opening amount of the suction valve 10 corresponding to the inputted suction temperature to a high- level signal selector 15 and a deviation monitor 17. On the other hand, the discharge pressure from a blower (or compressor) 9 is measured in a pressure transmitter 18, which sends the measured data to a constant wind-pressure recording controller 14, which sets the limit throttle opening amount of the suction valve 10 so that the discharge pressure is equal to the set pressure. This permits the constant windpressure range to widen, prevents surging, and lessens the wasteful blow-off.
