Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the area needed for installing a servomotor and the apparatus cost by switching to the boosted pressure-oil system when the differential pressure (or differential pressure ratio) between the opening and closing sides of the servomotor is above a set point.
CONSTITUTION: To close the inlet valve, a distributing valve 9 is switched to change over a port 9a to the drain oil side and a port 9b to the pressure-oil side. Since the differential pressure berween the opening and closing sides is low at a normal operation, a switching valve 10 blocks the boosted pressure oil. Consequently, pressure oil passes through a by-pass line, opens a check valve 16, flows in the closing side of a servomotor piston 5, and closes the inlet valve. Next, to close the valve along the line F2; when the pressure oil having been supplied through the by-pass line reaches a point P1, the increase in the differential pressure is detected by cylinders 10a and 10b, and the switching valve 10 is switched to change over a port 10c to a boosted pressure-oil line in order to supply the high-pressure oil boosted by a pump 15 for the distributing valve 9. Thus, the volume of the servomotor is greatly reduced.
