Abstract
PURPOSE:To light the brake lamp regardless of sudden deceleration due to the engine braking by turning on the brake lamp when the deceleration rate of the vehicle exceeds a specified level. CONSTITUTION:The wheel speed detection circuit 1 produces an output according to the wheel speed while the constant time signal generating circuit 2 outputs the level 1 to T1 at a fixed interval. The wheel speed memory circuit 3 memorizes the wheel speed while input T1 rises from 0-1 and outputs the wheel speed from among those thus stored corresponding to the one a cycle prior into T2 and the subtractor 4 subtructs the present wheel speed from the preceeding wheel speed thus outputted and outputs the difference from T3. When the value of T3 exceeds the fixed level by means of the comparator 5, it output the level 1 to T4. The brake detection circuit 6 outputs the level 1 at each step on the brake pedal and when at least one of T4 and T5 reaches the level 1 in the OR circuit, the brake lamp is put on.
