Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled head capable of high-density recording and generating a large readout output by providing a main magnetic pole head and a reading ring type head in one body and by arranging a magnetic pole for writing opposite to the main magnetic pole across a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:At right angles to a vertical recording medium 5, a main magnetic pole head 6 (where only the tip part of a main magnetic pole 7 is made of barium titanate 18 and a magnetic flux focuses on the main magnetic pole 7) provided with the main magnetic pole for writing (permalloy film) 7 and a ring type head 10 for reading equipped with a gap 8 and a winding 9 are mounted on the same slider 11. At the opposite side to the main magnetic pole 7 across the medium 5, an auxiliary magnetic pole 13 provided with a winding 12 establishing a magnetic field for writing is mounted on a slider 19, thus forming a vertical magnetizing and recording head.
